On Friday, March 21st the Spirit of the Lord woke me at 3:30 am and impressed upon me to pray. While in prayer, around 4:00 am, the Lord spoke something to me that has disturbed my spirit since then. God said, “The American Church is not prepared for what is about to happen.” For the next hour or two (I lost track of time) I could do nothing but lay upon my face and groan, as I processed what God had said.
I’ve heard from many different preachers for years that trouble was coming to America, but on that Friday morning, it became a revealed truth to me. A revealed truth gives one boldness that they have not before possessed. I no longer see this as a possibility (leaving room for it not to happen). I am now fully persuaded.
I believe that America is about to suffer the greatest shock that she has ever experienced and that our lives will never be the same again, but this is not the tragedy. The tragedy is that the church that God planted here for this hour, the Church that brought this nation to the forefront of world acclaim, is now unprepared for this tragic event.
May the Lord grant an anointing so that the following message may move our hearts toward him in the most expedient manner, for time is truly of the essence.
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;
A somber mood is produced when we hear about this world which we love, know and enjoy coming to an end. I think Noah was no different than us. He had his entire life, one much longer than any reader of this could ever hope for, ahead of him. There were children dreamed of, grand babies to spoil, but he was also aware of the wickedness that surrounded him, and he worried about bringing children into this world. What kind of life would they have to look forward to? The righteous life that he sought to live was constantly under attack. What would the world, so corrupt and violent, have to offer them? But he lived day by day, making the best life he could for himself. He stayed close to God, not knowing that God was planning to end the earth as it had been.
The Lord saw and honored Noah, by warning him of the impending destruction. But in His mercy God did not stop with the warning alone, He also explained how he and all his house could survive the coming judgment. God laid out the perfect blue print for an ark that would sustain the lives of those who entered. The divinely inspired ark would be the only thing able to withstand the dark days looming on the horizon and keep those who trusted in it safe from the destruction.
I don’t think Noah wasted a day. I believe he immediately went to work, putting into play everything that God had spoken to him. His heart burned and he no doubt groaned in his spirit day by day as he realized that God was delaying the destruction of the world until he got the ark prepared. (1Pe. 3:20) He, no doubt, looked at the beauty of the earth itself and hoped against hope that God would not fulfill His promise. He probably lay awake many nights wishing that the message he preached that day wasn’t true, but only the deranged ramblings of a mad man. But he knew that every word he preached was true. He had heard the voice of the Lord and God had said that destruction was coming. So each day, though he faced the immense burden of ridicule, rejection and alienation, another greater burden drove him and spurred him to prepare for his family a way of escape. There was no time for worldly things. The end was looming far too large to enjoy them anyway. There was no reason to invest in this world anymore, it would soon be a waste of effort. Everything he had was poured into this Ark. Everything! He did it for his family, he did it for himself and he did it for his God!
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Let’s be honest with ourselves, even though we (the Church) see the sin and great wickedness that abound around us, we have learned to adapt and find joy in the midst of it. We’ve even learned how to fit into this sick sin soaked world somehow. We sink our hearts into family, work and hobbies. If there is any time left over, we give some to God, but for the most part, we have made very comfortable lives for ourselves in this world. We have assimilated the ways of the world into our lives, so that the hell is no longer disturbed by our presence and, regrettably, we are no longer disturbed by the presence of hell. We have adapted the world into our system of Church government and have even used worldly methods to build and maintain Church membership.
We have laid aside the Bible as a foundation of our lives and supplemented books of psychology. Entertaining speakers of philosophy have replaced the influence of the man of God, who is all but extinct, because of the afore-mentioned worldliness.
I am now convinced that this world is about to let us down. No nation has more Bibles than ours, yet we have failed to read them and apply its teaching to our lives, so we have sown in the barren womb of this world.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; Ga. 6:7,8
One of the most quoted scriptures paraphrased of both sinner and saint alike, is you reap what you sow, which is the great law of reciprocity. But we have not taken this to heart - only to ear. Now something, and I have no idea what it will be, but something catastrophic is about to happen to America and her church has sown in the wrong place and because of this we are not prepared for what is about to happen.
I don’t know why we, as Americans, have this idea that we are somehow exempt from suffering before the Lords return. Most of us have lived our entire lives with no real threat to our normal lifestyle. We have enjoyed mostly great fortune and comfort in our lives and in the times that we have struggled financially, there was always a steady and stable government beneath us to keep the bottom from falling completely out. And, yet again, we see the greatest killer of the church, prosperity, has claimed yet another trophy, the American Church. We have learned to lean on the world, grown comfortable with her systems of government and pleasures, never taking into consideration that our government has never really ran this country. God set forth this nation to proclaim His truth with our lives. When our nation did so, God was able to bless us and kept us in His care. But now we are not even content to give him lip service, much less life service. Our nation has grown so sure of her independence that she is convinced that, not only does she no longer need God, but refuses to even acknowledge Him in anyway, and He is about to bring this arrogant child to her knees.
I have never been trouble in my soul like I have been troubled for these past few days (5 days at the time of this writing). I have had very fitful sleep, up at all hours of the night groaning before the Lord for that which is speeding toward us.
But I have never known God to warn a people, without also giving those people opportunity to heed the warning. Unlike Noah, God has not indicated that He is going to hold off the disaster until the Church is prepared. The merciful warning could be the last thing we hear before destruction comes. I’ve heard people say, “Well, I’ve heard this stuff preached all my life and it’s not happened yet.” Well, I can guarantee that no one has heard this message for 120 years, remember it took 120 years for the flood to come yet the flood did come. My wife, Sonja said it’s like walking through the department store and see a lady, near the end of pregnancy, clap her hands and smile while looking at baby things and exclaim, “I’m going to have a baby!” You would smile with her and enjoy the feeling. But if you saw that same woman suddenly grow pale and while groaning, make that same statement, “I’m going to have a baby!” how much different would your response be? This event is not something way off in the future. It is imminent and it will be severe.
What is the solution to this impending disaster? Build an ark, not a raft not a bridge but something that will endure the coming flood. Use no mere earthly mans plan, our worldly training will turn us to worldly methods of we do not reign ourselves in. This is no time to hoard food, build an arsenal, buy property in the wilderness or move to another country. It’s time to build an ark by Gods blueprint.
With that said, it is no time to play games nor trust any altered copy of the blueprint. Go to the Bible and with fear build you an ark for the saving of your house. We can leave nothing out, add nothing to, just do what God has said. Arguing over foolishness? I’ve no time for that when the clouds of disaster loom overhead. Pray man pray! If we are strangers to the prayer closet, we are a stranger to God.
It’s time we get real honest with ourselves. We don’t have what we need. We’ve made excuses for the sins that we love in order to keep them in our lives. We have wasted our time with entertainment, sports and hobbies and that is why we are at this impotent place at this most important time.
The angel of death was coming to Egypt to kill the firstborn of each house. Every house that had NOT followed the specific instructions of God, by applying the blood to the door post and mantel, he would enter and flash his swift and deadly sword. But to ever door he came to and found that they HAD taken heed to the warning and followed the instruction of God, by applying the blood, he would pass over them.
I hear the sound of angels wings, and they are not the wings of the pretty, kind and helpful angels that this modern, lazy church has preached of in her perverted pulpits. This angel is coming with a sword in his hand and the American Church had better prepare for his coming. Apply the blood to the door. Be moved with fear and build an ark for the saving of your house.
